Anyone ever heard of a Dune Cycle 3 wheeler?

Here are a few pictures of my Dunecycle. I would love to know the history of how it came to be in a small town in Iowa. Very Cool and Fun.

I had something similar to one of them when I was young. I was built just like that but had a fiber glass body around the the engine, rear tires and seat. It was allot like the VW trikes people build but smaller with like a 6.5 B&S. Did any of these ever come with fiber glass bodies?
