    Question '82 Honda XR500R Conversion Questions..Pic

Does anyone have experience converting a Honda XR500R to a trike? I have seen some threads on 500R's but not the XR.
Could a 250R swingarm and rear be used? Or would it also need different forks? Or would I have to use a whole 250R frame and stuff the XR500R motor in it?
    All help will be appreciated.
By the way my Honda XR500R is a 1982. It's in rough shape but I'm just rolling around some ideas.

Well.. Here's Billy Golightly's 500X project (black tank) that got abandoned sometime ago. It's still around somewhere.

The other is Jason Hall's XL500 conversion. This bike is 3/4 done. But other projects have pushed it to the back burner.

that engine is WAY to large to stuff into a 250r frame. you would have to convert the bike into a trike.
