    "Sasquatch" threewheeler????

recently I have heard some of my friends ask me about a threewheeler named "sasquatch". i have never heard anything on this but i got 2 different people talking about to different trikes so there must be some truth to this. they describe the wheeler sorta like a big red. any clues and/or details about these "sasquatch" trikes would be helpful, thanks

They are black, like a maco called a 340 sasquatch, they have a B&S 8 hp i think it was with a solid frame, torqeconverter, and big ballon tires.

    Bigfoot

Thats funny! I have been trying to use that angle to get my wife to come riding with me. You see she is fascinated with "Bigfoot" and I told her we could take a road trip and go riding looking for him. Still working on it. I told her if we find him and he tryes to "Get Us" we can get away faster on a trike.

    Are you sure about that?

It may be a rare 3 wheeler, but you can still bet that I have some information on it ( and a ton of other machines ).

Sasquatch model available with optional REVERSE gear.

I currently have a Granger Model that was given to me to restore for 3WW. This thing is Far from being done. I am in need of a final drive unit. I could get by with borrowing one and having the one gear/shaft duplicated. Once I get this I will put the rest of the restoration into high gear and get it rolling. I wished there was someone to provide the tranny or the gear / shaft for me to have it duplicated.

One of my freinds was just telling me about the two Sasquatch three-wheelers at her cabin about thirty miles east of McCarthy, Alaska! They were dissasembled and flown out in a Beaver (classic bush plane) years ago to get close to the cabin. They were then packed onto sled and drug behind a widetrack snowmachine in the wintertime to get the rest of the way. She said they had big tires on the back, front and rear racks, and were black and orange.

I had never heard of them before. Howdy; do you have any pictures? What years were they made? Is it a geared transmission (1,2,3,4...) or more like a hydrostatic drive?

Me and my freind were discussing if it would be possible to get them out of there; we decided they'd have to come out in parts on a plane. Thirty miles of bushwacking (no trails out there) and many river crossings, probably including the Chitina and Copper Rivers which are both nearly a mile wide, kinda confirmed that.

    The 340 Sasquatch

I couldn't help reading the sasquatch info, but I know for a fact that the 340 sasquatch throttle is not twist grip. I has basically the same throttle as a normal 4-wheeler.

The original sales brochure states right on it that it comes with a twist grip throttle. I know this because I have a original brochure, and I have a machine ( Granger ).

I had a friend with one of those, not sure whatever happened to it though. Was kinda a BIG machine and not all that great of handling. But I rode a 125m and that handled like a dream.
