I see 83-84 250r plastic tank on it. Why ask is what it is, it's a cobbled assortment of parts to make a toy no different then today's leta use what we have builds. Xr350 bike motor of its time...a turd by today's standards
Not true. Mickey Dunlap races one like this and Honda prototyped these as well is the info I found so far. The radial motor rips! Not looking for negativity looking for the history on these pre 350x race trike

You should send a couple pictures to Dunlap. He might know who built and / or raced it. Seems like it was built from the same blueprint as his. Nice score!!

Definitely not built by a amateur, excellent machining and high dollar parts used. I think most amateurs would put a pipe and cam in to race not pull the motor out of a expensive new dirtbike

Don’t pay any attention to “The Douche” he’s just a troll looking for attention. I think you have a sweet piece of retro history honestly. If you look at dunlaps Proto type atc thread it’s almost identical. Fenders engine tank even the chain tensioner. If you do a tear down and restore please do a thread.

Just spoke w Dunlap again on FB he said his was a one off prototype so someone must have liked his ride and just tried to copy the design. Must have been a team that built it as well machined as it is
